1. When can I wear sunglasses? 👓
I actually don`t like patients to wear glasses directly on their nose for two to three months. Sometimes patients will wear their nasal splint when they are wearing sunglasses to protect it.
2. When can I work out? 🏋️♀️
I like patients to not do any strenuous workout for three weeks after surgery. They can go and walks and things that are light, but nothing that makes them strain in any way.
3. How long will the swelling and bruising last? 🤕
The large amount of swelling and bruising is gone in one to four weeks. However, there is a minimal amount of swelling that can be chronic and can take 12-15 months to entirely go away.
4. Is it normal for my nose to be numb? 🤔
It is very normal for the nose, particularly the tip of the nose to have numbness after surgery. It often takes 6-8 months for that to fully return for normal sensation to fully return.

5. Am I still swollen, and when will I see the final results? ⏳
Patients always underestimate the amount of time that it takes to see the final results, particularly in the nasal tip. The nasal tip takes the longest because the skin is thicker, and it requires a longer time for this thicker skin to redrape and see the effects of what was done underneath the skin. It can take 12-18 months to see final results.
